crawling

The kids and the collaborators were able to hold them and observe how they move and have adapted for survival, including the scorpion's ability to turn blue under the black light.DSCN2481IMG_0316D7K_8174IMG_0322DSCN2494IMG_0320Observations about the crawlers resulted in art and writing during the morning.DSCN2514The Undead Goats headed to Fort Funston for their outdoor adventure and crawled up and down sand dunes all day.IMG_0329D7K_8187D7K_8225D7K_8232The Flying Fish followed up on their conversation about gravity from yesterday by watching videos of astronauts on the space station. The videos gave the Fish (and the Ninja Cats!) new ideas about how much gravity affects us on earth.DSCN1387Microbes have become a vehicle for conversation amongst the Ninja Cats, and the big-eyed critters lingered while the Cats worked on their declarations for the Motion arc.DSCN1394Coke and Nicky worked on their prototype for their project.DSCN1406At the end of the day we celebrated Coke's birthday with his mom's amazing blondie brownies.
